Product Details

The Cheri Poster Bed, with its romantic French styling, has a decidedly feminine soft parchment finish with transparent fly-specking. Delicate hand-carved reproduction and ribbon and rosette appliques are applied to give a floral feel. Tenon-and-mortise construction, a centuries-old method for joining two pieces of wood, provides strength and durability.

The poster bed features scored, shaped, and turned posts. The headboard is gracefully arched with shaped molding and ribbon/rosette carvings. The footboard has French legs and a carved rope motif. The bed is available in twin or full size, and an optional trundle unit is available with the twin-size model, functioning as additional storage space or as an extra bed. The trundle has a solid bottom with a removable partition for sleep and casters for ease of movement.
