I purchased this bed in a twin size for my Mother. She will use it in her new apartment in the retirement home. It is really pretty and very well made...I was just a little disappointed to find that the extensions for the headboard legs are not finished off like the footboard legs. The metal just ends and is sharp. (I will have check them to make sure that they do not cut circles in the carpet.) [...]The finish is really well done, very smooth with no flaws that I could see. The color is a little on the gray side of cream - maybe it could be considered very light, coolish-taupe with a darker taupe accent color.All in all, the ends of the headboard legs don't necessarily show, it is a VERY fancy bed and looks quite special sitting there all made up in fancy Shabby Chic bedding.

I ordered this for a full size bed. It was sold as a full but comes as a queen with adapter plates to fit a full. The posts stick out almost 5 inches on both sides making it look cheap. Had I known this I would not have purchased but it is beautifull and would look better on a queen as it was intended.

finishes my bedroom off beautifully. Great value, nicely made, slight problem in assembly in one leg was bent making it difficult to put the bottom part in. Overall I'm a happy customer
