Sterling Bed

This is a beautiful, heavy, all-casted bed with a gleaming plated finish. The Sterling is a design you would expect for a brass bed, but it's plated in Shiny Nickel, a finish you'd find on a more contemporary design, but it works very well here. There are many little details to this bed which sets it apart from others with this similar look. The finials for a start are not the traditional ball-shape but the same acorn-like shape of the heavy zinc castings. Also there are little round balls sitting over the areas where castings connect spindles and rails. Small touches which add elegance to this already majestic-looking bed.
